How It Works

Enable feedback for a site and give someone access. When they visit the site with a review session, a small toolbar appears: press +, click the spot, type the note. The comment arrives in the site's Feedback tab in your dashboard, grouped by page, and 'Open on site' takes you straight back to the marker. The overlay is served only to people holding a session — a visitor downloads nothing.

Markers That Survive Edits

A comment is anchored to the nearest element with an id plus the path to the exact child, with fractional offsets inside it — not to pixel coordinates. Edit the page, change the window size or view it on a phone and the marker follows the content it was placed on. When the element genuinely is not on the page any more, the marker is drawn against the nearest visible ancestor and clearly flagged as approximate rather than silently misplaced.

Access Without New Accounts

Three ways in. A review link puts you or a teammate into review mode for 12 hours. Granting an existing WordPress user is the durable option: whenever they are logged into that WordPress, the overlay is simply there. Inviting by email suits a client with no WordPress account at all. Whichever you use, revoking ends it immediately rather than when the session would have expired.

Roles Carry Over

A granted WordPress user keeps the weight of their role. Administrators and editors can resolve and delete anyone's comments on the site they administer; authors, contributors, subscribers and shop customers comment, reply and react, and can delete their own. WordPress stays the authority — change a role there and it applies the next time they sign in.

Out of the Way

The toolbar can be dragged anywhere and folded away, and remembers where you left it — useful when a cookie banner or chat bubble owns the corner. Markers can be hidden entirely to look at the design as a visitor sees it. The overlay steps aside inside Divi, Elementor and the Customizer, so editing a page is unaffected.

Frequently asked questions

Do visitors see the comments?

No. The overlay is only served to someone holding a review session, and everyone else downloads nothing at all. Turning the feature off for a site removes it for everyone at once, including people who already had access.

Does the client need a MegaManager account?

No. They either use their existing WordPress login, or an emailed invite link. Neither creates an account in MegaManager or gives access to your dashboard.

What happens to comments if a page is redesigned?

Markers anchored to elements that still exist follow them. Where the element is gone, the marker falls back to the nearest visible part of the page and is flagged as approximate, so you can see it needs re-placing rather than trusting a wrong position.
