Keeping sites healthy
Uptime monitoring
Minute-level checks, incident alerts and a status page your clients can read.
Uptime monitoring is enabled per site, on its Uptime tab. Until you enable it, nothing is checked.
How the check works
MegaManager requests the site on a fixed interval — a minute by default — and records the response code and how long it took. A site is considered down when the request fails or answers with an error status.
Allow at least one interval after enabling before the charts have anything to draw.
Incidents
A transition from up to down opens an incident and raises a critical alert. The recovery closes it and sends a follow-up, so an incident that resolves itself overnight still leaves a record of how long it lasted.
The history shows every check, so you can answer was the site slow last Tuesday rather than guessing.
Status pages
A site's uptime can be published as a public status page — a link you can give clients so they check the status themselves instead of calling. It shows current state and recent history, and nothing else about your dashboard.
What it does not do
Uptime monitoring answers did the site respond. It does not open pages, run transactions or check that a form works. A site that returns 200 while its checkout is broken counts as up.
